How to prepare and what to expect on your first day

The Night Before
✓Prepare your clothes — follow the dress code
✓Charge your phone and set an alarm
✓Check the transport route to work
✓Prepare your documents (passport copy, work permit, contract)
✓Go to bed early — being rested is important
✓Pack a small bag with water, snacks, and any needed items

What to Bring
✓Passport or ID card copy
✓Employment contract copy
✓Your phone with WhatsApp active
✓Comfortable shoes (you may be standing or walking)
✓Lunch or money to buy food
✓Any required personal protective equipment (PPE)

Getting to Work
✓Leave with plenty of time — arrive 15 minutes early
✓Use Google Maps to find the best route and buy tickets
✓Download your regional transit app (e.g., PID Lítačka for Prague)
✓If you get lost, contact your supervisor or coordinator immediately

What to Expect
✓Introduction to your supervisor and team members
✓Workplace tour and safety orientation
✓Explanation of your tasks and responsibilities
✓Information about break times and lunch arrangements
✓Training on any equipment or software you will use
✓Discussion about salary, schedule, and expectations
